Filmmaker Atanur Nabiyeva thinks makeup is a sign of vanity and does not like wearing it, even though most women in Azerbaijan prefer to put on makeup before leaving the house. There is only one woman in Atanur’s life, her Grandma Rana Nabiyeva, who has never worn makeup. Although Atanur knows why she doesn’t use makeup, she does not know why her grandmother doesn’t.
